Upcoming Classes
Gabrielle LaFargue will be teaching a Calligraphy Class featuring the italic hand (lower case), a cursive form of writing originated by the renaissance scribes, which endures to this day.
This class will be held for 4 Saturdays (Jan. 28, Feb. 4, 11, 25) from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Huachuca Art Gallery. The cost will be $96.

Gabrielle has studied calligraphy with Pat Buttice and Joanne Insinga in New York, as well as attending workshops through the Society of Scribes (NYC) and the Calligraphic Society of Arizona (Phoenix) for the past 12 years. Her work has been exhibited throughout Long Island and at our own gallery. While in NY, Gabrielle was active with island scribes acting as vice-president, librarian, exhibit committee member and newsletter editor.
Adult Classes

Wednesday of each week, self-directed drawing session with a live model, $5 fee, 10 to 12.
Thursday of each week, Open Studio, no fee, 9-4, fun, info sharing, support. Bring your own supplies and project to work on.

Cost for the month of classes is $50. (all materials and pens included) Siblings are $10 less.
